Eleanor Glenn is a playwrite and stage performer. In 2007, she wrote the play, The Servant at the Supper, and has been performing it since then.
Costumed as the 'servant girl' who baked the bread and served the wine at the Last Supper, Eleanor takes her audiences with her as she witnesses the crucifixion, talks with the women returning to tell Peter of Christ's resurrection, the coming of the Holy Spirit and receives a visit from St. Paul the Apostle.
As the play gained critical and popular acclaim, Eleanor wanted to capture the performance on video, and make it more broadly available via DVD or an on-demand stream over the web.
The first step in doing so was to record one of her performances, which we did at St Maurice Parish in Ottawa. Segments of the resulting video were broadcast on Salt & Light Television, Canada’s first national Catholic television Network. Portions of the video are available on demand through a customized Flash jukebox on the Servant at the Supper website.

The DVD is in process, and includes additional video of Eleanor talking about the play, as well as me conducting an interview with her.

She was very keen to document the inspiration for the play, and to provide additional context of the play.
I will be helping Eleanor as she moves it forward. One of the initial mini projects was to create some business cards.
All in all, this was a very fun and rewarding project. I look forward to working with Eleanor and other artists that need help getting their ideas out to a broader audience.
